Development Update (February)

I don’t want to be dishonest, but I really needed a break to take care of our family/work/dog & Co and had therefore hardly worked on Requia since the end of last year ๐Ÿ™ˆ. This means of course that the release date I am aiming for in March will probably be rather tight. Even though I’m now back to work since the beginning of February, I don’t know if I can keep the date.

What has happened since then and what am I working on right now?

๐Ÿ‘‰ the whole new ability card upgrade system is done – so the automatic upgrade of ability cards by usage is completed.
๐Ÿ‘‰ the new attribute system is already finished (so no more ATK/MATK/SOL/MBOOSTโ€ฆ) – this was enormously time-consuming, because I had to adjust almost all 300+ ability and equipment cards. From the text in DE/EN to all the effect mechanicsโ€ฆ.
๐Ÿ‘‰ client for Windows is done.
๐Ÿ‘‰ I’m currently working on the improved control system – so that you can use the cards with a simple double click and you don’t have to drag them around all the time. This is very important especially for the Steam version, otherwise the controls on the PC would be very tedious. I will soon show a video how that looks like.
๐Ÿ‘‰ afterwards follows the adaptation / simplification of the tutorial – since many things are now no longer required and the game is generally more self-explanatory than before!
๐Ÿ‘‰ and I am in the process of creating the Steam Store page!

Either way, the release shouldn’t be too far behind – since it’s already looking very promising at the moment. I’ll know more at the beginning of March. Of course I will keep you up to date on this.
